House of Folkman is a family of women—two sisters and their mom—living in different places and stages of life, united by a love for thoughtful living and timeless design. From interiors and hosting to Amazon finds and heirloom recipes, we share what we’ve learned (and loved) across generations. We’re not about picture-perfect—just creating homes and moments that feel intentional, personal, and beautifully lived in.

We chase people down to find the best recipe. We don’t believe that any good recipe should kept secret.

We have been designing home personally and professionally for decades. Most of the gorgeous pictures you will see on our page is Rachel’s projects.

Hosting

We believe that homes are meant to be shared. We’ve been inviting groups of different in to share meals and make memories.

When we invite people into our homes, we’re not just offering a seat at the table—we’re offering a piece of ourselves. Hosting is how we turn ordinary meals into lifelong memories.
